Building a scalable, illustration-led digital system for a fast-growing ASPM platform

ArmorCode is a leading Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platform helping enterprises manage and scale their application security programs. As the platform evolved rapidly and content volume increased, the website needed to do more than showcase features, it needed to scale with the business.

The existing digital setup struggled to clearly communicate complex security workflows, support frequent product updates and manage a growing library of resources without manual effort.

The goal was to design a scalable, modular digital system that simplifies complex cybersecurity concepts, supports rapid growth and enables internal teams to manage content independently.

As ArmorCode expanded its product capabilities and go-to-market initiatives, the website needed to support scale without becoming complex to maintain.
Key challenges included:

Explaining complex ASPM workflows in a simple and visual way

Supporting frequent product and content updates

Managing a large and growing resource library

Maintaining performance while increasing content volume

Reducing dependency on developers for day-to-day updates

How can we build a scalable product website that clearly communicates complex security concepts while remaining easy to manage for internal teams?

To address these challenges, we built a structured, illustration-led and component-driven digital system focused on clarity, scalability and operational efficiency.

Illustration-led product storytelling

Complex cybersecurity concepts can be difficult to communicate using traditional screenshots alone. We introduced a custom illustration system to simplify product storytelling. Our approach included:

Custom illustrations to explain ASPM workflows and integrations

UI-style diagrams and flow visuals to show how data moves across tools

Conceptual visuals to replace screenshot-heavy sections

A consistent illustration style across product pages, blogs and resources

ArmorCode can now explain sophisticated security workflows in a more approachable, visual and user-friendly way without losing technical depth.

Component-based Webflow architecture

To enable faster updates and reduce reliance on developers, we built a modular Webflow system using reusable components. Key elements of the system:

Reusable components for product features, modules and CTAs

Flexible layouts that can be rearranged without breaking consistency

Standardized typography, spacing and interactions

Scalable templates for future product expansion

The marketing team can quickly create and update pages without rebuilding layouts from scratch.

Resource & documentation system

ArmorCode regularly publishes whitepapers, reports and solution briefs, requiring a structured content system. What we built:

Consistent templates for all resource types

CMS-driven layouts for easy publishing and updates

Standardized thumbnails and metadata for better organization

Visual consistency across all documents

Content teams can manage and scale resources efficiently while maintaining brand consistency.
